Greek films at Clermont Ferrand

The film «Ηelga Är I Lund» by director Thelyia Petraki and producer Kostas Tagalakis will be screened at Clermont Ferrand Short Film Festival, the most important festival for short films in the world. The festival takes place between 3 -11 February 2017.


73 films will take place at the Competition Section (from 7.898 applications).

«Ηelga Är I Lund» has won a best female performance for Helena Topalidou at Nixtes Premieras festival, a special mention for sound for Kostas Varibobiotis and Valia Tserou and 1st Scriptwriters Guild of Greece Award 2014.

The film has been made with support from the Greek Film Center and the SEE Cinema Network.

The co-production Forum for european short films takes place in the Market of Clermont Ferrand. Two film projects from Greece participate: “Τhe Silence of the Dying Fish” by Vassilis Kekatos with Eleni Kossyfidou producing and “Postcards from the end” by Konstantinos Antonopoulos with Fani Skartouli producing.
